Happy Holidays!

2026 will be a special year for Agora Verkehrswende. Ten years ago, in December of 2015, the international community adopted the Paris Climate Agreement. Our think tank for climate-neutral transport was launched in the summer of the following year. We will thus be celebrating our tenth anniversary in 2026. 

As we cross this significant milestone, we aim to reflect on the past, and to set our sights on the future – a future that begins in 2026 with the start of the UN Decade of Sustainable Transport. While many miles remain on the journey to a climate-neutral transport sector, we look ahead with confidence, emboldened by the many who share our ambition for change – not only in Germany, but also across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
